About AccessAid
AccessAid exists to achieve a vision where every environment is accessible and welcoming to all individuals, regardless of their abilities. We believe that accessibility is a fundamental right, and we are dedicated to creating environments where everyone can participate fully and independently.We specialize in helping private and public organizations create buildings, spaces, and transport networks that are inclusive and accommodating. Our approach combines advocacy, technical and policy advice, and disability awareness training to ensure that inclusion is at the forefront of policy and built environment development.

At AccessAid, our mission is to promote accessibility in the built environment to ensure inclusion and improve the quality of life of persons with disability and the aged.

Our vision is to make Ghana one of the most accessible countries in the world
Our Vision in Action
Education
We envision a Ghana, where Children with disability thrive in mainstream schools discovering the world through learning and playing, just like every other child, without barriers to their education and development.
Work
We envision accessible Ghanaian work places which enables adults with disability have access to employment that fits their skills without fear of stigmatization. They will earn a living in a dignified manner and care for their families and dependents.
Leisure
Our goal is to ensure that aged adults using assistive devices and persons with disability are not confined to their homes. They will have the freedom to go out, enjoy activities, visit tourist sites, and relax on beaches, fully participating in society without limitations.
Travel
We envision persons with disability making journeys in a dignified manner regardless of their economic status. From their houses to stations to whatever their destinations might be, there will be accessible connections for them move around as independently as they can.
